Trio

"My Trio collection was inspired by the iconic Revlon ads of the'80s," enthuses Steve Elias. "They featured the most unforgettable women in the world! To do this project justice, I created Mod, Androgynous, Pretty in Pastels, and Disco styles." (SteveElias.com)

Classic Bride
Collection: 2011
The looks vary from classic to trendy. I recently traveled to New York for an exclusive photo shoot with one goal in mind: to create a romantic themed collection suitable for any princess bride. As Artistic Director of Sherri's Hair Salon in Bristol, Virginia, I wanted to expand the salon team's portfolio with wedding hair so that clients would know that those options were available to them. My daughter Amy Lauren, and a stylist at the salon, was the the perfect assistant. Seeing my daughter have the same passion for the beauty industry that I do is very rewarding for me. Before flying to New York for the big shoot, we brainstormed ideas for both hair and makeup. I even practiced the looks on Amy Lauren the day before to see how they would read on camera.
